I have been involved in commercial dispute resolution for over 30 years. I am a Chartered Accountant and for most of my career I specialised as a forensic accountant working on large insurance claims and acting as an expert witness in litigation cases. In 2025, I became an CEDR accredited mediator and established Kevin Harding Mediation.

Kevin Harding Mediation helps people to resolve all types of business and commercial disputes. I regularly work with business owners, company directors and shareholders who are in disagreement, or conflict, to find a way forward. I also assist with contract negotiations and disputes between businesses. The three main services I offer are:
i) Facilitation – a more informal type of meeting for internal discussions, to resolve tensions or strategic differences, or between businesses. I act as a neutral to help the parties find a workable solution to the problem and an agreed way forward.
ii) Negotiation advice – I work for one party in a negotiation, often behind the scenes, to help them clarify their objectives, test their strengths and risks, assess possible outcomes, structure proposals and consider their negotiation approach.
iii) Mediation – a more formal process where the parties are heading towards or have started litigation, but are looking to try and resolve their dispute. The parties often already have legal representation involved, but not always.
